FY500 Buy Now (NOT 'Pre-order')

Anyone else uncomfortable with the idea of pre-order buying the FY500 (paying for it upfront) and there been a couple of months before it is delivered and you actually receive your purchase.
It's not that I don't trust FuckYeah, I have no reason not to, but pre-ordering off the internet comes with a risk, so I will only buy it when it is actually available as a "Buy Now" purchase, for immediate despatch.
Has the Fuckyeah machine always been preorder and made to order?
They have sold multiple batches, they must have a rough idea of its demand, allowing them to calculate the minimum amount to make knowing they will all sell. According to their website it has been 18 months (since July 2023) when they started batch production. I hope they soon stop taking pre-orders, list the item as out of stock until the next batch is made and sell them, or even do a combination of the two, pre-orders and stock sale, that way people who are not comfortable with pre-order can order it.
